Food Court, Kanpur

The building is located in a typical urban scene of kanpur, a heterogeneous context, an ensemble comprising of complexes,markets, houses or even temporary shelters for food stalls. We confront the need for maximum commercial space while maintaining an architectural quality within the tightness of the site. The building will operate as a food court, providing a one stop shop for all the local food vendors. A ground floor provides spaces for drive way, parking, food outlets and public sitting area. First floor comprises of more food outlets, sitting spaces and wide open terrace for a connection with the sky.
